“Be gracious, my enemies are all surrounding, be gracious, You are the one who keeps my feet from falling. When I’m afraid I put my trust in You, Your word I praise, I will not fear what man can do, You are keeping count of all my tears”…. Psalm 56.
Well, here it is my cliché Thanksgiving, thankful post. Did you already stop reading? Hope not, because I’m not going to list the things I’m thankful for. I don’t know about you but, personally I’ve been focusing on gratitude, and not because I’ve chosen to. My Instagram feed is bogged down with entrepreneurs and bloggers consuming the Thanksgiving natures and pretending to be thankful. Okay, maybe some people are really gracious and honest. And call me bitter but, my followers might need more. That’s why instead of listing all the things and people I’m thankful for this season, I’m going to thank my supporters. I’m giving away a $40 gift card to one of my favorite boutiques in Denver, Fab’rik of course, around the country to one lucky reader/ supporter of Shanell Avenue. I’ll be picking a winner tomorrow on Thanksgiving Day. All you have to do is read my blog as you usually do and comment what you love, hate, or want to see more of! Consider it an act of gratuity! I am gracious for my followers! But I’m not going rub it in your face! Happy Thanksgiving!

Love how you switched up for the norm around this time of the year. Gratitude!!! And the fashion of course is definitely on point. What I like about this outfit is that it’s very transitional. It can be worn to Thanksgiving dinner with family and friends, or post Thanksgiving dinner evening out having drinks & dancing.
Love the blog, lady! I’m currently obsessed with destructed black skinnies! Would love to see some layered looks for this crazy weather- freezing in the morning and sweating by the afternoon! 🙂 happy thanksgiving 🍁
